Design in line with Environmental policies

DynamicSignals, LLC, the owner of the GaGe brand, is committed to meeting environmental regulatory obligations. A major objective is to ensure that our high quality, reliability and safety standards are maintained as we endeavor to transition the integration of environmentally friendly components into our product design phase.

To achieve this objective, we are actively involving all levels of engineering and departments within our organization along with industry consortia to work together in developing and defining common industry technical qualification criteria, acceptable material alternatives, and testing and reporting industry standards that will allow us to transition our designs to meet evolving regulatory obligations. Additionally we plan to make available to our customers an End-of-Life-Cycle Product Retrieval and Recycling capability wherever local law requires.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) – Product Recycling

In support of our environmental goals, effective Q1/2007 DynamicSignals will launch a formal Product Retrieval and Recycle Program (PRRP) in Europe that complies with the European Union Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (“WEEE Directive”).

This program will provide self-explanatory instructions to the end user for End-of-Life-Cycle Product Retrieval and Recycling. Equipment returned under this program will be handled in an environmentally safe manner, and will comply with processes outlined in the WEEE Directive requirements. Restrictions on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Compliance

GaGe products are currently outside the scope of the RoHS Directive being classified under category 9, Monitoring and Control Instrumentation. We continue to actively research and assess preferred environmentally friendly products and components to replace those elements identified as not complying with environmental standards that are currently used in our products' design, to enable long term reliability, quality and performance. As we work towards transitioning to RoHS-compliant substances, we are collaborating with our supply chain partners to adopt compatible RoHS compliant components that will meet all our product performance specifications and manufacturing processing requirements.
